Owner Lance Houston started with a vision. At the time he was working as a contractor on small earthwork and landscaping projects. From the start, he made it his mission to do the very best work on any project, large or small. His vision was to elevate to the best in his field. This was over three decades ago, but the same vision motivates Houston Excavation and Demolition today. Lance is happy to say that to this day, he personally oversees every project taken on by his family-owned business in Kansas City, Missouri. While the size of the company and the projects have grown, Lance has never lost sight of his vision.
Over the years, Houston Excavation and Demolition built a positive reputation based on the best possible service. The Kansas City-based, family-owned business has grown on the principle that we have to earn the client’s trust. While we have grown to employ over sixteen dedicated staff members we are absolutely committed to providing the best excavation and demolition services in Kansas City– along with customer service that has a family touch.

Founder
Lance is the founder of Houston Excavating and Demolition and has been in the business his whole life. His knowledge of various equipment and processes allows him to match the proper equipment to the project and thus get maximum efficiency. He is on site daily, overseeing all projects and all operations.
RUSSEL BRANSON
On-Site Project Manager
Russel is the on-site Project Manager of Houston Excavating and Demolition. He is the point person for any questions, concerns or changes over the course of your project. He is the cornerstone of our personalized, family-oriented customer service.
HARVEY GOIN
Project Manager and Estimator
Harvey is the project manager and estimator with 42 years of experience in the excavating and demolition field. He manages the administrative and contractual needs for our team.
